Saturday Market listing - 9th February 2013

Celebrate the Chinese New Year - and indulge yourself this Saturday!

Come on down and join us for a great day in Durham this Saturday. Durham's Saturday Outdoor Market will be in full swing in the Market Place. And the Market Hall, with over 50 stalls by quality local independents, will be open as usual too.

To welcome in the Year of the Snake, Durham's famous lion dance will be performed at 12.30pm.  And for the children, NE Day Crafts will have free drop in Chinese New Year Crafts for Kids - just look for the stalls under Town Hall balcony.  

Clayport Library will also be hosting free Chineses New Year Arts and Crafts activities from 10.30am to noon and from 2.15pm to 3.15pm.  Also, there are drop-in Origami sessions between 10.30am and 3.15pm.

With Valentines Day in the coming week, why not visit Bear Bottom inside The Market Hall - where they've got a selection of Valentine Bears and hearts for your loved one!
