The Big EAT brings traceable, ethnic and eco-friendly to the Market Square

It's a brand new tasty touring street market - and it's making its first ever stop at Durham Market Place, so come down and enjoy what's on offer - original eating, and shopping for all.

This is what The Big EAT is all about.  E is for ethical and eco-friendly, A is for artisan and T is for traceable.  The produce and products are both locally sources and from across the globe, making The Big EAT an eclectic mix of world street food and regional home made foods and home-grown groceries, as well as arts, crafts, clothing, jewellery and accessories.
