Saturday Market listing - 05 April 2013
Join us for a great day out in Durham this Saturday, and enjoy a wide range of stalls at the Outdoor Market.
Durham's Saturday Outdoor
Market will be in open for business in the Market Place. And The Market Hall, with over 50 stalls by quality local independents, will be open as usual too.
As well as wonderful shopping, at The Outdoor Market this week we have entertainment from the National Youth Orchestra. Small ensembles of young and talented musicians will be playing throughout Durham City Centre for 5 minutes at a time on Saturday, between 1pm and 2pm. You'll find and hear them in the entrance to The Market Hall, underneath the clock in the Market Hall - and in other places in the city centre as well. Enjoy the music - and give them big rounds of applause!
Also, if you want to find out more about the 'Bedroom Tax' then you'll have your chance to speak with protestors seeking signatures for their petition.
